We made it through Christmas! I hope you and your family had a wonderful holiday season.
For us, the week between Christmas and New Year is a time for relaxing, baking, watching movies, playing games and enjoying the snow. We don’t host a huge New Year’s Eve party, but we do have a small get-together where everyone brings an appetizer or two to share.
One of my all-time favorite appetizers to make is buffalo chicken dip, and it’s always a hit! If you’re looking for a simple and delicious dish, this recipe using Frank’s Red Hot Buffalo Sauce is a go-to.
Frank's Red Hot Buffalo Chicken Dip Recipe
This dip is perfect for any gathering, especially when you need something quick and tasty. You can either make it in the oven or throw it in the crock pot for an even easier option. Here’s what you’ll need:
Ingredients:
2 Cups shredded chicken breast
½ Cup Frank’s Red Hot Buffalo Sauce (or your favorite hot sauce)
1 Block of cream cheese
½ Cup ranch dressing
1 Cup shredded cheddar jack cheese
Directions:
Crock Pot Method: Add all ingredients to a small crock pot (double the recipe if using a larger pot). Cook on low for 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally until creamy and heated through.
Oven Method: Preheat your oven to 350°F. Mix all the ingredients together in a baking dish. Bake for 20 minutes or until the dip is bubbling and heated through.
Serve: Serve with celery sticks, tortilla chips or crackers. Enjoy!
