Ingredients:
1 lb. ground beef (cooked with the onion)
1 lb. bacon fried and cut up (I often just use the bacon pieces)

1 can dark red kidney beans
1 can light red kidney beans
1 can Northern beans
1 C. ketchup
½ C. brown sugar
1 TB liquid smoke (this makes the recipe shine! Don’t skip!)
3 TB vinegar
1 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
Directions:
Cook the ground beef with the onion until browned. Drain any excess grease.
Combine all ingredients in a medium-sized crockpot.
Cook on low heat for 4 hours, stirring occasionally.
